板式冷卻器是汽車?yán)鋮s系統(tǒng)中最重要的組成部分，通常是由出水室、進(jìn)水室以及主片與散熱器芯片共同組合而成的。板式冷卻器的結(jié)構(gòu)簡單，且經(jīng)濟(jì)高效，在性能方面也隨著時(shí)代的發(fā)展也在不斷的加強(qiáng)。在板式冷卻器的使用中，有時(shí)候會有不進(jìn)水的狀況發(fā)生。

有的時(shí)候并不是加不進(jìn)去水，而是感覺并沒有加多少水，但是散熱器就已經(jīng)顯示加水加滿，但是行車距離沒有多少的時(shí)候就又顯示缺水，也就是我們平時(shí)所說的“虛量”。

上述兩種情況大都是因?yàn)楣?jié)溫器的原因造成的。正常情況下當(dāng)我們加水的時(shí)候，節(jié)溫器閥門上的小孔是需要泄流的，但是如果這兩個(gè)小孔堵塞的話，就會出現(xiàn)氣體無法正常排出，進(jìn)而導(dǎo)致冷水并沒有充滿水套的時(shí)候就顯示加滿，其實(shí)還是缺水的。
